Boy Drowns Near Argillite After River Search
The drowning of a 28 year old man from an upper county near Argillite is reported. He had been living with families in Argillite and worked for George Hoop. A three hour river search involved fifteen to twenty men and led to the recovery of the body on the river bank. The man previously gained notoriety for a past shooting in Tierne’s watermelon patch.
