National Hi Y Congress to Meet at St Olaf College
About 100 teenage YMCA members from across the United States will attend the 10th National Hi-Y Congress at St Olaf College Northfield Minnesota June 27 to July 2. Five delegates from the Portsmouth area were named Lynn Gullett Carolyn Head Becly Jenkins Jan Tierney and Bill Schrock. Principal speaker will be Dr Charles C Noble dean of Hendricks Chapel Syracuse University. The congress theme This Believe aims to challenge teens to better themselves through self understanding and service.
