Delegates from the Tenth district head to the Democratic state convention in Deyton O. next week with James Ti. Moore Jr. of Waverly as private secretary to Edward W. Hanley, state central committee chairman, who will call the convention to order. Moore is son of James H. Moore Sr., Pike County’s candidate for senator in this district.
Second papers are taken out for Earnest Brescia born in An dali Italy 1879 who came in 1901 and declared intent in 1905 in Green county Pennsylvania. Also Rubin Fannenbaum born Glasgow Austria 1884 emigrated 1904 declared in New York 1906. Edwin Martin Mohr born Lengfeld Germany 1886 emigrated 1901 declared in 1907. They reside at 411 Gay street and 157 West Second street with occupations laborer clerk and butcher.
Jennie Trixson was named administratrix of John Il Hixson’s estate after he was killed in Cincinnati when a scaffold gave way. The employer Art. Hixson worked for agreed to pay the widow S525 as compromise of damages.
Dan P Powell a boilermaker at the N and W was crushed between tank car bumpers while attempting to couple two cars at the terminals. A notice announces the death of Frank Moore, a Sciatoville native, who died in Missouri on June 7 1916, aged 55. He was son of Mr and Mrs William Moore of Sciatoville, husband of Maggie Gunther, and uncle to Mrs R M Davis and Mrs Adam Ault. He is survived by his wife and other relatives. He was buried on his thirtieth birthday after moving west in early manhood and living in Carterville Missouri with his wife.
Receiver Harry J Strong of South Webster was appointed in Columbus on June 14 on Arlington C Frarvger and A B Fullerton’s application. Bond fixed at 8000. The company defaulted on interest payments, and J N Sprague was authorized to bid 3100 for the epilans’s property as the business could no longer be carried on.
