Fight on West Side Ends in Arrest for Disorderly Conduct

A man identified as Campbell was arrested by Deputy Sheriff Arthur after a disorderly fight near Buran View. Elaina Cannaday allegedly struck another person in the head with a rock and used a knife, while a woman named Anneal Willings Campbell was also involved. Stolen Wellston Roadster Recovered on Scioto Trail

A roadster owned by Tim and Teed of Wellston stolen days ago from Washington Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets has been recovered by police. It was found abandoned on Seinte Trail near Ruhbmin Avenue and the owner has been notified.

Detour Wrangle Nearing End For Buena Vista Route

State Highway Department engineers from Columbus visit the county to secure right of way for a temporary detour on the A and P Highway at Buena Vista. If the right of way is obtained, the detour will cover the entire improvement during three miles of repaving.

Two Charges Faced By Man Under Arrest Here

Taft Spleer was arrested on Chilli cothe street Monday on charges of trade riding and resisting arrest. The arresting officer, Patrolman Leslie Hunt, reported that Spleer refused to go to the police station and he had to use force to troudle him into the polite car. Police say that Spicer was arrested a short while age on a window peeping charge and was released when he agreed to leave the arts. He left the city but returned a few days ago.

County officers fail to locate Robby Cooper

County officers again failed to apprehend Robby Cooper who is wanted for shooting Fred Cooper on Twin Creek Saturday night. They guarded his home and waited for him to appear Monday but he did not come out for food as expected.

Four small Cooper children who had been lying alone since the shooting were removed to the home of relatives at Sugar Grove by an officer. The two oldest declined to return home.
