Man To Face Trial In Case 33 Years Old
Alton Peters 53 home in Lima State Hospital for 33 years will be brought to Scioto County to answer five charges murder rape and burglary in the death of Mary S Prescott. Indicted by the Scioto County grand jury in 1936 he pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity and was found insane. Doctors say Peters is legally sane and fit to stand trial.
