Thirty eight passengers including a baby were stranded overnight in two Sandia Peak cable cars after a wind lift and a power failure. Police said no danger of falling, a crane failed, and a helicopter would assist rescue operations. The cars remained suspended high above ground with passengers calm as rescue plans proceeded.
