A sixty one year wedding anniversary is celebrated at the home of Mr and Mrs John G Peebles in Lewisport with family relatives and many friends in attendance. They were married June 10 1885 in this city and have lived here most of their lives active in church charity and philanthropy. The event is a family affair with two daughters and four sons plus sixteen grandchildren and other relatives.
