Funds approved for Shawnee State Park marina project
The Ohio Controlling Board approved 1.95 million to build a marina at Shawnee State Park along the Ohio River with a 136 boat dock, boat ramp, harbor, sewage plant and landscaped grounds. Completion set for June 1974 with contracts awarded to Roger J. Au & Sons and others. Local leaders praised the move.
