Crippled Children's Clinic Examines Fifty at Maysville
About fifty children were examined at the crippled children's clinic held at Third Street Methodist Church in Maysville. The group ranged from younger children to ages 17 and 18, and the examinations were led by Dr Charles L. Gaur of Lexington assisted by Dr C M Mey Guire with a nurse staff including Mrs Anna Onlin and Viola Smith. Local nurses from the county and city health departments also participated.

Deputy Bridwell found the still on the second floor of a four room building and destroyed the boiler after seizing about a gallon of liquor. Officers searched and located the stolen goods in a barn hidden in straw. Alkaloid used for cooking sells wholesale at $2,000 and retail at $4.50. McCloud denied knowing the whereabouts of Roach. Arrests were made in New Boston and the Chrysler car rented there. Suspects to be questioned in Mountington before charges.
