Jevs Sauindrs widow of GC Sauindrs died Sunday morning in Columbus from paralysis. Born December 1826 as Ogden, she married and moved to this county, residing years in Portsmouth. Remains brought home this morning for burial at Queenlawn Cemetery after services at her son William’s home.

The Spanish American War veteran served with the Seventeenth Battery F artillery in the Philippines and earned a medal and certificate for bravery.
