The Democratic County Committee of Adams, Jackson, Pike, and Scioto counties invites delegates to a convention at the Opera House, Portsmouth, Ohio, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 1912, to nominate a Democratic candidate for senator. Representation is one delegate per 200 votes or major fraction thereof for Judson Warman in the last general election. Adams 11, Jackson 9, Pike 15, Scioto. The Christian Endeavor Society hosted an ice cream and strawberry social Tuesday evening.

In memoriam for Mrs Margaret Keller wife of Maen Keller of the Chillicothe pike who died May 16 1913 aged 42 years 2 months and 7 days She was a devoted wife and mother and leaves a husband five children Sherman Taicasville Roy Joseph Jr Mabel and Edpe at home two grandchildren Helen and Melvin Keller a mother two sisters Mrs Jobot Cutlip and Mrs Melvin Colegrove She joined Blue Run church in 1901 married Joseph R Keller August 13 1886 seven children born two died in infancy She rests in Harver’s cemetery.
