Nil Gusher Is Struck In Richlandale Area

A wide area of Ross and Pike counties has been excited since Saturday evening by the striking of an oil gusher near Richmondale in southeastern Ross county. The well, expected to yield 15 barrels a day, was struck on the Henry Dubois farm. James D. Corwin leads a firm of prospectors with thousands of acres in the area. this is their first gusher.

Foot Mash at Davis Station Ends in Amputation

William Campbell of Lucasville and West Virginia bridge man suffered a severe foot accident at Davis station while boarding an eastbound train. His foot was crushed by the wheels, two toes were amputated at Park hospital, where he was taken soon after the incident.
