A mother Mia Lopez Mikes age 31 and her 17 year old Lulu Voormas were shot to death in a west side Chicago apartment after a family quarrel. Wounded were Louis Voormas 16 and Philip Mikes 34 a milk wagon driver. Police said Mia Mikes had obtained a warrant for her husband’s arrest for disorderly conduct. He allegedly shot them as they dressed to appear in court and then killed two more occupants before fleeing.
