Portsmouth Woman Dies From Auto Crash Near Findlay
A Portsmouth woman, Ortha Brooks, 66, died in Lima hospital from injuries suffered Friday in a Route 25 auto crash a mile north of Findlay. Her husband Charles Brooks, 72, remains in Findlay hospital with skull and collar bone fractures. John Thomas, 26, of Leon, W Va., drove the truck struck by the Brooks car and was uninjured. Mrs Brooks survived by father Harrison Farley, a daughter Mrs Loyd, and sister Mrs Minta Elliott. Funeral services set for Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Windsed Howland Funeral Home with Rev Hall Daniel. burial at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call Monday night.
