The trailer held clothing hunting and fishing gear and weeks of living supplies. The unit had a telephone linked to the driver’s compartment. They continued the return trip after the fire.
Daphnis Johnson, two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson of Oak Hill route 3, died at Mercy hospital at 1:30 p m Tuesday after being scalded in a tub of hot water Sunday. Survived by parents and nine siblings. Funeral Thursday at Monroe Church with burial in Monroe Cemetery.
