Taxicab driver Dewey Henson, 30 of 1200 Off nere street, had his license suspended for speeding 45 mph and his cab license suspended. Norfolk and Western train engine struck Charles Ferrell at 10th and Waller streets injuring him. Ferrell suffered a cut eye and chest, was taken to Mercy hospital then sent home. He said he did not see the watchman or the train at the crossing.
