New Portsmouth Board Members In Training Classes
Two ports mouth cities school board new members elect James W Secrest and James C McKenzie are studying the district in preparation for their January start. They attend Friday briefing sessions on finances curriculum organization and personnel and sit in on current board meetings to learn operations. Superintendent Duduit says this orientation helps a smooth transition and better future decisions. Secrest and McKenzie replace Glenn Brock and William Cropper whose terms end December 31. Other board members are George L Davis and Dr Otto Apel.
