Electric System Sale Revival in Wellston
Wellston council revived a stalled bid sale of the city's electrical distribution system. Councilman Lawrence Greathouse with support from George Carr and Harold Sanders asked Solicitor Joseph Oths to draft legislation to advertise the system for bids. The move follows a study of a proposed 10-year wholesale energy franchise with Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Co.
