Auto Contractor Eichenlaub Killed In Fremont Crash
Lafe C. Eichenlaub 43 of 2810 Sereto Trail a car penter contractor died after his pickup was hit broadside by a tractor trailer at the State Route 20 and Stone streets intersection on the Fremont outskirts. He died en route to Memorial Hospital after suffering a crushed chest and injuries to the left side. A beagle in the wreck was injured. Police traced the victim via a local Eagles lodge card to his daughter in Fremont. Alvin Ockleman 24 of Cincinnati was cited for failing to stop at a red signal as the eastbound truck failed to slow at the intersection. Plans Set For '49 Kettle Day To Aid Needy
