Plan in Spain Would Avert Chaos
A distressed report from Rome notes attempts by Antonio Glocochea to confer with King Alfonso XIII regarding restoring a monarchist party in Spain. Diplomats, exiled monarchists, clerics, and leftists watch for reactions while Fascists urge dictatorship as a path to stability. Glocochea’s visit, aimed at obtaining Alfonso's approval, showcases the political tension ahead of the Infanta Mentis wedlock.
