RC Crc 33rd Anniversary Celebration at Rockingham

The 33th anniversary of Constitution Circle, Companions of the Forest, Wao, was held at Rockingham last evening with about 200 attending. Rev J J Belluscio opened with prayer and a chicken dinner followed. Nellie Philbrick welcomed guests and tribute was paid to charter members. A lengthy program featured performances by Dondero and others, with an orchestra and decorations enhancing the banquet.

Many Nazi followers jailed in Austria under harsh decree

Vienna June 20 Associated Press reports Hitlerism is outlawed in Germany and many Austrian followers of Hitler are jailed as terrorists after bombings. In Krems martial law and Heimwehr clashes left 16 injured. An 18 year old former Heimwehr member now joined the Nazi was identified as their leader.

Kidnap at Homeopathic Hospital Ends With Wounded Suspect

Two men broke into Homeopathic Hospital in Pittsburg and abducted Peter Sebolsky, 27, of Cicero TL, via a second floor window. Sebolsky, wounded, was taken tied with a 74-pound shackle to a waiting car as staff noted his leg wound and possible prior involvement in a holdup. Police issued alerts for a yellow car with Ohio plates, believed bound for Cleveland, while East Liverpool and Ohio authorities were asked to watch for the trio.

Graduation at Training School in Portsmouth

The Portsmouth Training School held a graduation ceremony last evening in the Junior High School auditorium. Six graduates received diplomas as the program featured an orchestra, student essays on character building and the changing school, an address by Rev. Harold W. Curtis, and a diploma conferred by Mayor S. F. A. Picketing. An informal reception followed.

New York June 20 The stock market moved forward at a fast pace as the dollar fell to record lows in foreign exchange, but heavy profit taking kept gains modest. Dugey to Meet Pete DeFrank in York Road Show

The Arena A. O. will host a top boxing card at the new York Road arena tomorrow evening led by K. O. Dugey versus Pete DeFrank of Haverhill Mass in the main bout. Also scheduled are six-rounder Johnnie Dube of Haverhill versus the Dover Flash and other bouts featuring Young Cremier of Rochester against Kid Iman and Danny Martin of Lawrence versus Kid Iman.
