Portmouth man completes Kingston air defense training

LaPointe Heads Cemetery Association in Eliot

Donald LaPointe was elected president of the Mt Pleasant Cemetery Association at the recent annual meeting. Officers include Mrs. Sidney Spinney secretary Mrs. Edwin Blatsdell treasurer and Charles Chick pictured. Trustees are Albert Libbey George Emery Earle Chick and Walter Cole. Superintendent W Scott Staples reported 800 feet of water pipes laid and plans to complete piping to all points. Memorials include a Worris Hurst Family Memorial and a flag memorial gifted to the veteran’s plot.

Daily highs around the mid to upper 60s in cities like Boston and Worcester, with nightly lows in the 50s.
