Eight Children Injured as Truck Overturns

A motor truck carrying fourteen children on an outing overturned in Laconia near the Sacred Heart Church. Eight children were injured, with Richavid Morin among the more seriously hurt. The driver, Mrs. Gertrude Barron, said the vehicle tipped as she turned to reprimand boisterous youths. some children were trapped beneath the truck and required extraction by responders.
