Relatives Seek Custody of Murdered Couple's Children
Relatives of Billy Virgil Locklear and Hazel Locklear plan legal custody battles for their two orphaned children Billy Jr aged 3 and Mary Ann age 2 after the Dallas couple were found dead in their home. Police said the youngsters survived several days on bread crumbs amid the 90 degree heat, were unharmed aside from hunger and fear, and are now under juvenile authorities. Relatives expect a court fight to determine custody within about 10 days while authorities assess the kids emotional state and isolate them at the shelter.
