Bicentennial flag buying tips as prices rise
The Bicentennial boosts U S flag sales but confuses buyers with many sizes styles and prices. The three by five flag remains most popular at 10 to 20 dollars with cotton nylon and mixes available. Liberman of Valley Forge Flag Co cites rising costs and inflation while noting a typical flag kit sells around 11 dollars. For larger homes consider four by six or five by eight flags. Flag Day is June 14 and commemorative flags are promoted by the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration.
