Paul Smith a Browns ville shrimper was convicted of murder with malice in Brownsville district court and received a four year prison term. He was found guilty of killing Amparo Gomez Sanchez a highway maintenance employee while drunk driving on Highway 100 near Bayside when his car struck a parked highway department truck last December 17.
