A Poor Boy Helping Jed Little in Cold Weather
George Maxwell learns of Jed Littles poverty after seeing him shiver in school. He gathers a bundle of clothes with his mother and aunt, visits Jed’s bare home, then returns with a full suit. Years later, Jed faces hardship and Maxwell, now a successful man, recognizes his old friend and welcomes him in.
