Goose Hunters Open Season October 2 Nebraska

Waterfowlers in Nebraska begin a 75 day season at sunrise on October 2. Eastern counties see blues and snows migrate south with a five bird daily bag and limits including Ross' goose and Canadas. Western Nebraska starts November for Canadas with some early shooting at Box Butte Reservoir. Regulations largely mirror last year with Keith County Canada limits cut after December 1.

Hospital rummage sale supports Central City hospital funds
