Mr and Mrs Richard Johnson visited in Osceola Sunday with Mrs Enoch Peterson and others at the hospital then dined with Mr and Mrs Wm Wright. Wayne Tyler spent last week at a Colorado cabin and visited relatives. Gail Widga of Lincoln stayed with her parents Donavin and Mrs Widga. Willard Adelson and Emil Person visited Mr Person at York Manor and joined coffee at the Person home. Bill Ferrand of Omaha spent the weekend with her mother Frances Widga.

The Immanuel Lutheran Walther League hosted a hay rack ride Sunday evening at the Emil Wilshusen cabin with a wiener roast and singfest led by Daryl Hilligas. Attendees included Walther Leagues from St Peters Zion United Lutheran and Fridhem churches about 70 people. Pastor Stephen C. Stohlmann and Don Stuebgen led Sunday services at Polk Nebraska church.
