Loans Protect Farm Crop Prices for 1968
Growers can preserve prices by using Commodity Credit Corporation loans and marketing certificates. Chairman Richard C. Sealey says loans give an immediate harvest return while keeping ownership, with better prices possible by storing and repaying later. Local 1968 loan rates vary by crop: corn 1.04, milo 1.48, wheat 1.29, soybeans 2.39 per unit.
