Pheasant Hunt Start Brings Birdies And Backlash On Sunday
The pheasant season opened with loud bangs and many birds shot on Saturday. A Sunday return to the Lowell Bills estate yielded more birds and a golf session left the writer sore. Cattle pasturing sorghum stubble poses risks after frost, with careful grazing advised.
