Polk County W C T U Convention Held at Osceola
The Polk County W C T U met at the Lutheran Church in Osceola for a convention led by county president Mrs. John Falk. Rev G A Randall gave devotionals. Miss Lulu Hendrickson and Miss Anna Freeman gave welcomes and responses. Memorial services were conducted for four members. Nine Polk union members, 21 Stromsburg, and 19 Osceola attended. Osceola Union earned the honors with the top Standard of Efficiency banner. Officers elected: President Mrs Falk, Vice President Mrs I J Merrick, Treasurer Miss Ludw Hendrickson, Vice Treasurer Miss Anna Freeman, Secretary Mrs Ruth Aker, Vice Secretary Miss Emma Anderson.
