Nebraska Proposed Amendments Digest 1968 Ballot Measures

Nebraska voters read a lengthy summary of proposed constitutional amendments including trust limits on legislative pay changes, government finance, public electricity corporations, and state taxation. The notice lists amendments 10 through 15, detailing legislative powers over corporations, property tax exemptions, education loans, highway bonds, and salary caps for lawmakers, with dates and publication notes.

GMG Girls Meet Includes Elections and Devotions

The GMG Girls group met for lunch served by Lori Hanquist with devotions by Mrs Hanquist. Eleven members attended. A single program book was created for handiwork. Officers elected: President Peggy Lindburg, Vice President Lynette Creech, SecTreas Debbie Creech, News Reporter Julie Green, Librarian Dianna Green, Counselors Mrs Hanquist and Mrs Glasser. Next meeting set for October 22 with Julie Green as reporter.
