The Polk County Nebraska treasurer lists lands and town lots subject to delinquent taxes and special assessments. The public auction will begin November 4 1940 at 9 AM in the county treasurer's office Osceola. The sale continues day to day until all parcels are offered.
The Village of Polk Nebraska held a regular meeting October 1 1940 with all trustees present. Reports from the Light and Water Commissioner Village Treasurer and Marshal were read heard and accepted.
