A display of 1600 curriculum oriented titles is shown at the Columbus Media Center from September 20 to October 14. Hours are 9 to 5 weekdays except Thursdays 1 to 9 PM. Charter Service Unites Methodist Women’s Societies
The Women's Society of Christian Service of the United Methodist Church held a charter meeting on October 3 at the church. The service marked the union of the Methodist and Evangelical United Brotherhood organizations into a single Women’s Society of Christian Service of the United Methodist Church. A charter service opened the event with soft music during signing and the group sang A Picture of Jesus.

Mrs L Stromberg Hosts Woman's Club Meeting
The Pork Woman's Club met at Mrs Lloyd Stromberg's home on Tuesday October 1. New members Mrs Oscar Sundberg and Mrs James Brazda Sr joined. A program on Colorful Planning was given by Mrs Verland Widga and the hostesses served lunch to 14 members and five guests. Later, Mr and Mrs Elmer Hanquist and Imogene Mr and Mrs Walter Nelson Mrs Emma Horstman and Mrs Harold Jackson of Iron River Michigan had dinner in York on Sunday.
