Week of mild weather with mostly nice days ends in a gale

The week featured little excitement with mostly nice days and a calm stretch until Saturday when a north gale brought clouds, snow flurries, and a plunge to the low teens overnight. Temperatures ranged from 24 to the 60s, with clear skies and light winds dominating most days. The piece notes visitors, Mr and Mrs Arthur Piinee of York, staying with the Adelsons.
