A Community Thanksgiving service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 30 P M at the Evangelical Free Church. Special music will be performed by several groups and laymen and young people will give testimonies on the meaning of Thanksgiving.

Andrew Kresha aged 18 and Janet Swan aged 18 were crowned 1971 4 H King and Queen at the Annual Achievement Night in Shelby on November 23. Andrew active in West Island 4 H Club with nine projects and numerous contests and leadership roles. Janet with Debettes 4 H Club completed sixty seven projects and held leadership roles while pursuing college studies in Minnesota. Mr and Mrs Elwood Sandell visited relatives in Lincoln.
