Dornburgh sonar man third class USN son of Mr and Mrs Lyle Dornburgh returns to San Diego aboard radar picket ship USS Southerland after duty with the Seventh Fleet in the Western Pacific. The seven month cruise covered 16 ports in seven countries and 45000 miles, about 214 times around the world.
