Emma Johnson and E Kentfield of Cheyenne Wyoming visited Bodine's home Thursday evening. Charles Erickson of Denver spent from Saturday to Monday with Polk and Hordville relatives and stayed with Hannah Hahn. he later visited Bernice Erickson in Stromsburg and Doyle Hahn in Osceola.

Trimmette Tops Shed 511 Pounds

Hardville Trimmette Tops held a Halloween themed month with four teams named for costumes. The Jolly Jack-o-lan tern led with 22 percent weight loss, followed by Proud Pumpkins and Calorie Cats at 13 pounds and Wishful Witches at 6 pounds. Visitors from Polk and Harvard joined, a Marquette club contest was started for six weeks, and Queens of the month were Donna Green, Parma Werner, Ann O'Shea, and Sandy DeMeis.
