School board sets November meeting after State visit
Regular meeting of the School District 72 board notes all members present. Bills were approved, budget for the last fiscal year reviewed by Mrs Merrill. Next meeting moved to November 9 due to a State Department visitation.

Polk residents joined the Gideon Rally in David City Saturday evening including Elwood and Wallace Sandell Reuben Hanquist Rudolph Nyberg and Pastors Stauffer and Thengvall. Deacons met at Elwood Sandell home after church Sunday. Vernon Atkins of Kimball visits in the Sandells' area. Osceola hosts lunch for Harold Neson family after a game. Mrs Stohl and Mrs Stevens return from Wisconsin trip.
