County Board Adjourns After Tax Protests and Fees
The county board approved a protest against property taxes in Shelby and settled fees on titles. It adjourned to meet May 21, 1940 after approving substitution of securities by Stromsburg Bank. A sheriff sale notice follows for a Polk County foreclosure with date set for May 21, 1940.
