Ann Abner Elson Wilcox of Wilcoxson and Manchester ancestry is honored posthumously. Born February 17 1846 in Manchester Michigan he served 18 months in the Eighth Michigan Cavalry and later became a blacksmith in Arborville Nebraska. He died May 7 1929 and left a large family with a civic life rooted in ME and Congregational churches. Funeral services were held at Arborville church with Masonic and American Legion honors.
