Floyd H Olson dies after long illness
Floyd H Olson, 62, died Friday in Chappell hospital after months of illness. Funeral services were held April 22 at Grace Lutheran Church Chappell. He was a barber for over 40 years and operated the Bennington barbershop since 1946. He served in the U S Air Force 14 months during World War II and had cut hair for notable figures including Truman Peterson Howard Gable Tracy and Stewart. He is survived by his wife Violet daughter Cheryl Lea stepson Mervin three grandchildren and several siblings.
