Local residents travel and visits span several states

Mrs. W H Pollock and her eldest son left this week for California to visit relatives. Mr and Mrs J B Fletcher and two sons, who have been visiting his mother and the Stouffer families, returned to Houston Texas. Mrs Roos Goethe took her sister Mies Lou Leymaster to Lincoln for medical treatment. Mr Ando Mirs Frank Bennett of Freihont were guests of their daughter Ester Lackey and family.

Vacation Bible School Opens With Forty Voices at Polk

The Daily Vacation Bible School began June 10 at the Public School Building A. A corps of ten teachers present Bible stories songs and memory work to boys and girls of Polk community for a three week session.

Anniversary Observed for Luther’s Small Catechism
