Two Banks Close Newman Grove on July 17

Two banks and a building and loan association shut their doors in Newman Grove. Farmers State Bank and Newman Grove State Bank were turned over to bank examiner L C Soversen. Security Savings and Loan Association was taken over by George B Wilson. Bank officers included J Wilson president and A L Finstrom cashier at Farmers State.
