Fertilizer needs for alfalfa and night driving lights in Nebraska
The guide notes alfalfa requires phosphorus sulfur and lime with sulfur fertilizers like 0-200 superphosphate and pulverized gypsum. Boron deficiency can occur in drought despite adequate nutrients, mitigated by 25 pounds per acre borax. Night travel requires proper vehicle lighting, especially for wide implements, with Nebraska law mandating red rear and amber front lights 300 feet visibility on vehicles 80 inches wide.
