Mr and Mrs Ivan Johnson spent Thursday in Mason City Nebraska visiting relatives. Wayne Creech and family returned from Lake McConaughy after a July 4 weekend camping trip. Ollie Johnson visited Osceola Good Samaritan Home and joined Leroy Johnson for supper and evening. Tuesday guests included Mrs Raymond Sundburg, Mrs Roy Glasser Sr, Mrs Willard Lindburg, Mrs Clara Anderson and Mrs Hugo Person plus evening visitors Willard Adelson and Leslie Adelson with Cindy and Debbie Larson from Lincoln. The occasion honored the birthdays of Mrs Person and the Bush family as well as the 60th wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Virgil Bush. Sunday guests at Central City included Don Best, Kenneth Ranging, Larry Coover and Eddie, Burdette Flodman, Randy and Tom Coover. The Marvin Branting home hosted Carl Wilson Vern Yager Becky Miller and others for Sunday supper.
