The Merry Stitchers Sewing Club met June 24 at Mrs Walter Green's home with nine members present. Nellie Jean Smith was chosen as club representative for the Junior Fair Association meeting. Members judged slips and discussed patterns and materials. Delores Wilshusen won first in slips, Elizabeth Smith second, Nellie Jean Smith third. school slip winners were Marjorie Warnick first, Louise Wilshusen second, Delores Wilshusen third. Refreshments were by Elizabeth Smith and Marjorie Warnick. Next meeting July 8 at Mrs Smith's home.
