Auxiliary Serves Steak Fry For Legion Men
The Auxiliary to 44 Legion men served a steak fry last Monday evening June 23 with co chairs Mrs Elaine Stromberg and Mrs Beverly Bills. Visitors included Mrs Mabel Stevens Mrs Floyd Miller and Mrs Emma Horstman visiting Mrs Martha Larson. Edna Lorch of Lincoln stayed overnight with Mrs Larson. The WCTU met with hostess Mrs A E Swanson and program leader Mrs Francis Doremus spoke on Consumed for Others. White ribbons were pinned on recruits and bouquets of garden flowers were delivered to shut ins.
