In Osceola Polk York Hamilton Seward and Butler counties the A A A district conference adopted resolutions urging immediate completion of existing contracts, support for a national farm program, opposition to policies favoring industry over agriculture, and a county by county plan to form United Agricultural Councils and County Farm Bureaus with a $3 1936 membership to fund farm legislation and sustain the agricultural agent. The drive aims to back extension work and pay off corn hogs and wheat contract signers.

Death of Maurice Myrberg in Stromsburg
Maurice Myrberg died at the Andrew Myrberg home late Friday evening after five years of illness. He was about 39, a Stromsburg native and 1915 Stromsburg High School graduate. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at the Myrberg home with Rev. B. T. Fairbury in charge. He is survived by his parents five brothers and sisters and two sisters, with interment in Romsburg Cemetery.
